Phi Phi Islands consist of six islets situated about 40 km from Phuket, Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Le, Yung, Mai Phai (Bamboo), Bida Nok and Bida Nai.
Phi Phi Don covers a total area of 28 square kilometers : 8 kilometers in length and 3.5 at its broadest point. Phi Phi Don is the largest island of the group, and is the only island with permanent inhabitants. The beaches of the second largest island, Koh Phi Phi Leh, are visited by many people as well.
